VRRC Sinter Hardening Module

The separate process step of conventional heat treament of PM parts can be eliminated in several cases by the process of SINTER HARDENING which is done in a module fitted immediately after the sintering furnace, before the water jacket cooling sections. Furnace atmosphere is recirculated across a heat exchanger and impinged on parts as they emerge from the sintering furnace.

Accelerated Cooling

The length of the water jacketed cooling section can be reduced by the use of an accelerated cooling section placed at the rear of the furnace where the cooling rate is slow.
